These pieces (and the recording) were commissioned by B.I.N./Selmer because they wanted to have demonstration material to introduce new types of Selmer saxophones. I decided to make some funky jazz rock pieces for saxophone quintet and a rhythm section. (Actually in Sax o' Clock there is a Selmer bass clarinet in the band also).
